Water Purification Systems – Hypochlorination Units

Characteristics

  • When connected to a water supply line, the unit will chlorinate the water unattended for 24 hours.
  • The unit will feed hypochlorite solution at a set rate, to water supply lines with pressures between 25-100 psi.
  • The unit will chlorinate water at a rate from 2-350 gpm.
  • The unit uses water pressure as its power source.
  • The unit is portable frame-mounted.

Major Components

  • Four-inch manifold. A four-inch diameter pipe for connection to a water supply line.
  • It can be supplied with inlet/outlet flanges or quick disconnect hose fittings.
  • Reservoir tank. A 6-gallon plastic tank holding the hypochlorite and water solution.
  • Ratio-feeder assembly. Automatically provides a preset amount of hypochlorite
    solution proportional to the water supply.

Water Purification Systems – Hypochlorination Units

Characteristics

  • When connected to a water supply line, the unit will chlorinate the water unattended for 24 hours to 4 days.
  • The unit will feed hypochlorite solution at a set rate, to water supply lines with pressures up to 150 psi.
  • The unit is electrically powered, 110/120V, 50/60 Hz connection with a 3-prong grounding plug. Length: 25 ft.
  • All equipment is preassembled. The only requirement is to secure the pump head to the tank, mix the hypochlorite solution, and plug the pump into a recommended power source.
  • Pump stroke length and frequency can be adjusted over 0-100 % of the range.
  • Flow Rate: 0.55 ga/hr max – additional flow rates and options are available.
  • System carries the National Stock Number 4610-01-435-4884.
